What's Happening in the Hood:
December 2011: Well we are still kicking. It has been an uphill battle every foot of the way but we still believe that what we are doing needs to be done. And whenever we begin to have second thoughts about rescue work, we look into the eyes of our fosters or see our adopted fosters with their new families, and we find the strength to continue. Hurray!! As of December 1st, we currently are not doing adoptions out of any store. However, we are working on changing that. Even without a store (Petsmart or Petco) we can still do a meet and greet. So if you happen to find someone on our list of fosters, please call us. To help us continue with our work, and keep the promises we made to each foster about finding a good home for them, please check out the wonderful dogs and cats who may very well be the next addition to your family.
You can use the "Share on Facebook" and "Tell a Friend" links on the right side of this page to help us get the word out.

***One of the families who adopted from us has created a webpage with some interesting bits and pieces of us and our dogs and cats. Please check it out: http://robinhoodrescue.shutterfly.com/ ABOUT ROBIN HOOD ANIMAL RESCUE I started Robin Hood Animal Rescue in March 2004. After working with several rescue/adoption groups over the previous few years and being told that I could not pick dogs up off the street or that there were certain breeds I could not rescue from the Animal Care and Control Center (The Pound), I decided to start an animal rescue dedicated to helping all animals in need—regardless of breed or situation. twitter with us: rhar4all
